Pre-Kindergarten

Ladd offers pre-k (ages 3-5) to students working on kindergarten readiness skills.
Who can be enrolled in pre-k at Ladd?
- Any student age 3-4 years old with needs identified as kindergarten readiness skills. These needs can be identified through the FNSBSD's child find process.
What is Child Find? When and where does it take place?
- Child find is a screening process to determine if your pre-school aged student needs additional support with communication, learning, or skill development.
- All information about locations, dates, and times for child find can be found on the FNSBSD's child find website. This is linked in the button below.
- If it is determined that your child needs additional supports in areas of communication, learning, or skill development, the team (consisting of you, special education staff at Ladd, the principal, and any related services providers) will meet to discuss where to move forward from there.

Please make sure NOT to park on the sidewalk side of the lane as that is where the buses pull up.

- A reusable water bottle
- A pair of gym shoes
- Snow pants
- Snow Boots
- Hat
- Gloves/Mittens
- Extra set of clothing in a plastic bag in his/her bookbag
Please leave toys at home unless instructed by the teacher so that toys don't disappear and friends aren't sad when they cannot play with your child's toy.
